Operator and commercial terms

These are current use terms. The operator’s identity, jurisdiction and support contact are pending and must be completed and reviewed before full launch or any paid offer. No payment or subscription agreement is offered by this version.

What the service does

Afterscroll’s Rewinder for TikTok reads your own ZIP/JSON export locally and lets you browse saved/liked video links. It is an independent service, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram or Meta. Their marks identify compatibility. It cannot access your TikTok account, post, unsave, unlike or send TikTok messages automatically.

Instagram support is planned and unavailable. There is no native App Store/Play Store app supplied by this site.

Acceptable use

Use an export you are authorised to access and comply with applicable law and the source platform’s requirements. The tool is not intended for anyone under 13; stricter local/platform requirements may apply. Do not submit another person’s archive without authority, attempt to access other visitors’ device storage, inject malicious code, abuse preview requests, defeat security controls or use the service to infringe copyright or privacy.

These restrictions do not limit rights that applicable law gives you, including permitted security research. A public security-report contact is pending; do not test against other users or perform disruptive testing.

Your collection and third-party content

You retain rights in your own information. Video rights remain with creators and their rights holders. Playback uses TikTok’s player, not a downloaded or rehosted video library. Access can change or disappear; private/deleted videos cannot be recovered. Links and backups do not grant permission to reproduce or commercially exploit videos.

Keep your original export or a private backup. Browser eviction, private mode, clearing data or a different device can lose your local history. Continue watching is device/browser storage, not guaranteed permanent storage or cloud sync. Keep backups private and remove them separately if needed.

Cost and future offers

This version is free to view, with no purchase, subscription, automatic renewal or view allowance enforced by Afterscroll. We do not collect payment details. If a paid ad-free option is introduced later, its price, taxes, duration, refund/cancellation terms and any required consent will be shown before purchase. Nothing here enrols you in a future charge.

Availability, changes and your rights

Playback depends on the source platform. Features may change and availability depends on browsers, networks, hosting and TikTok. We do not guarantee every link, autoplay, a fixed loading time or permanent availability. The Privacy notice explains current data flows; Help covers recovery and playback.

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer/privacy rights, excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited, requires arbitration or selects a court/jurisdiction without the operator’s details. No blanket waiver or loss of statutory withdrawal rights is requested. Final commercial terms need the real operator and applicable-law review.

Updated terms will carry a date and meaningful changes will be explained before a new commercial feature. The operator/contact channel is not available yet; that is a requirement before full launch.
